An enterprise environment with complex supply chain operations is seeking an experienced SAP EWM Consultant to support, stabilise, and continuously improve warehouse operations within an S/4HANA landscape. This role suits a hands-on EWM specialist who enjoys solving real operational problems, working closely with warehouse users, and improving end-to-end logistics outcomes. You will play a key role in L2/L3 SAP EWM support, incident resolution, system monitoring, and enhancement delivery across inbound, outbound, and internal warehouse processes, while partnering with functional and technical teams across the SAP ecosystem. Key responsibilities - Provide L2/L3 production support for SAP EWM in an embedded or decentralised environment - Analyse, troubleshoot, and resolve incidents and service requests within agreed SLAs - Support inbound, outbound, internal warehouse, and inventory management processes - Monitor EWM queues, RF framework, IDocs, background jobs, and system logs - Perform root cause analysis and implement long-term preventative solutions - Deliver configuration changes, system enhancements, and minor developments - Collaborate with MM, SD, PP, TM, BASIS, and ABAP teams for issue resolution - Prepare and maintain functional documentation, SOPs, and knowledge articles - Support testing activities including unit, integration, and UAT - Assist with cutover, go-live, and hypercare support when required - Provide user support, training, and ongoing process guidance to warehouse teams Skills and experience - Strong hands-on experience supporting SAP EWM (embedded or decentralised) - Solid understanding of warehouse structure and EWM master data - Proven experience across inbound, outbound, putaway, picking, replenishment, and inventory processes - Exposure to RF Framework, Handling Units, Wave Management, and physical inventory - Strong knowledge of EWM integration with S/4HANA modules including MM and SD - Experience using EWM monitoring and troubleshooting tools such as /SCWM/MON, SMQ1/SMQ2, and SLG1 - Ability to work closely with ABAP teams to analyse and resolve technical issues - Clear communication skills and strong documentation capability Desirable - SAP EWM certification - Experience supporting S/4HANA EWM environments - Exposure to warehouse automation or third-party logistics integrations - Experience working in 24x7 or high-availability support environmentsWhy this role - Work in a large-scale, enterprise SAP landscape with real operational complexity - Long-term stability with ongoing enhancement and optimisation work - Hybrid working and a collaborative, delivery-focused team culture - Opportunity to deepen your EWM expertise within modern S/4HANA environments
