The Role As a Senior Civil Designer , you will play a key role in project delivery and team leadership, including: Leading civil drafting for small to large-scale urban and building projects Managing documentation where no designated Lead Engineer is assigned Coordinating closely with engineers, architects, and project stakeholders Translating engineering and architectural concepts into clear, construction-ready drawings Developing preliminary designs from architectural inputs Mentoring and supporting junior designers, particularly in Civil 3D Contributing to continuous improvement of drafting systems, standards, and workflows Ensuring consistent communication and coordination across project teams About You You will bring strong technical capability combined with leadership experience, including: A relevant TAFE qualification or equivalent 8–10 years’ experience in a senior civil design role within Australia High proficiency in Civil 3D (preferred) or 12d on major projects Solid knowledge of Austroads, BCA, and Australian Standards Proven experience in utilities coordination, roads, drainage, and civil infrastructure documentation Strong mentoring and team leadership skills Excellent communication, problem-solving ability, and attention to detail Eligibility Applicants must have full Australian working rights and relevant local project experience.
