This is a senior sourcing role overseeing multiple spend categories, responsible for shaping group-wide sourcing strategies and driving measurable savings outcomes. You'll lead a small, capable team while partnering closely with stakeholders to lift the commercial maturity of the supply function. Client Details The client is a well-established resources services organisation with long-term operations across Australia and Southeast Asia. They operate a centralised supply function supporting complex, large-scale mining and construction activities, with a strong focus on safety, governance and commercial discipline. Description Lead and supervise a team of Sourcing Officers and Contracts Specialists (team of 4). Apply category management principles to drive sourcing strategy and business outcomes. Initiate and lead category and sourcing initiatives in collaboration with stakeholders. Run and oversee RFPs / tenders, commercial negotiations and contract awards. Provide oversight across the full contract lifecycle, ensuring governance and compliance. Identify consolidation and savings opportunities across key spend categories. Review category trends, demand and supplier performance. Drive continuous improvement across the Supply function. Oversee Modern Slavery obligations and reporting for Supply. Ensure effective use of SAP, SharePoint and approved ERP systems. Profile A successful Sourcing and Contracts Supervisor should have: Commercially minded sourcing or category management professional Background in mining, construction or project-based environments Strong SAP capability with solid Excel skills Strategic approach to sourcing and consolidation Confident leading and influencing a small team while remaining hands-on Job Offer Competitive salary package of $155,000 - $165,000.
