Boilermaker Welder – Fixed Plant FIFO 2:1 | Days & Nights | Mining Operations OSOS Alliance (part of PRM Management Group) is recruiting experienced Boilermaker Welders to join a site-based maintenance team supporting a large-scale mining operation in Western Australia. This role is suited to site-ready tradespeople who are safety-focused and comfortable working within structured maintenance systems in an operational mining environment. Roster & Pay: 2:1 FIFO roster 7 days / 7 nights / 7 days RnR 12-hour shifts $68.25/hr flat rate (paid on all hours, inclusive of super) FIFO from Perth Candidates must be comfortable working one full week of night shift every swing . About the Role: You will be part of a professional maintenance crew delivering structural maintenance, repairs, and upgrades across fixed plant infrastructure and heavy mobile mining equipment. The role includes a strong focus on: Chute repairs, rebuilds, and modifications on fixed plant, and Structural repairs on heavy mobile equipment, including tray, bucket, and chassis work. Work is completed in a high-risk, safety-driven mining environment, where strict adherence to permits, isolations, and site procedures is essential. This role suits Boilermakers who are confident working from drawings, experienced in heavy structural repairs, and who understand how their work supports plant and fleet availability. Key Duties: Structural welding and fabrication on fixed plant infrastructure Chute repairs, rebuilds, and structural modifications Heavy mobile equipment repairs , including: Tray rebuilds and relines Bucket repairs Chassis crack repairs Structural fabrication and reinforcement work Interpreting and working from engineered and technical drawings Light pipework and associated fabrication tasks Working within planned maintenance schedules Completing work in line with site safety systems and permit requirements Supporting maintenance targets while maintaining high safety and quality standards Tickets & Requirements (Mandatory): Trade qualified Boilermaker Welder (Engineering Fabrication) White Card Demonstrated experience working on heavy mobile mining equipment (tray, bucket, chassis repairs) Confined Space Entry Working at Heights Gas Test Atmospheres Fire Attack Firefighting (FAFF) Ability to pass a pre-employment medical & D&A Own reliable transport and hand tools Strong focus on safety, quality, and site standards Desirable: Previous experience working on fixed plant within a mining environment Familiarity with structured maintenance systems and permit-to-work processes Exposure to planned maintenance and shutdown activities About OSOS Alliance & PRM Management Group: OSOS Alliance is the specialist recruitment arm of PRM Management Group, supplying skilled trades and professionals to the mining, construction, and energy sectors.
