Position : Heavy Diesel Fitter Location: Goldfields, WA Roster: 7:7 or 2:2. Workshop role supporting underground fleet. Rate: Up to $90 per hour retention bonus Employment Type: Casual Role Overview We're seeking experienced Heavy Diesel Fitters to join a supportive team environment in the Goldfields. This role offers consistent rosters, strong earning potential, and the chance to work on a variety of machinery in a well-equipped surface workshop. Duties Carry out maintenance, repairs, and diagnostics on underground mobile equipment (e.g. loaders, trucks, drills). Perform scheduled servicing and preventative maintenance to minimise downtime. Conduct component change-outs and rebuilds (engines, transmissions, hydraulics, driveline). Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair hydraulic, pneumatic, and fuel systems. Undertake welding, fabrication, and machining tasks as required for repairs. Use OEM manuals and technical drawings to guide accurate repairs. Complete workshop-based overhauls of underground fleet components. Operate diagnostic tools and software to identify mechanical/electrical faults. Ensure all work complies with site safety standards and procedures.
