Due to ongoing growth, we require a Heavy-Duty Diesel Mechanic to join our team. We are seeking an experienced Heavy-Duty Diesel Mechanic preferentially with road sweeper knowledge, but not essential. What you'll need: Possess initiative and a strong work ethic. Duties and Responsibilities Your role is to: Detect and diagnose mechanical faults on our Mechanical equipment, sweepers, parts Perform servicing, maintenance and repairs on Mechanical equipment on our sweeper trucks. Dismantle and remove transmission and steering systems. Use analytical skills to resolve issues that involve mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and pneumatic systems. Testing mechanical parts to ensure performance and safety. Qualification and Experience: Certificate III in Engineering – Mechanical Trade or Equivalent Minimum 5 years of Experience as a Diesel Mechanic specialising Hydraulic Systems preferred Valid C Class Drivers License MR/HR License
