Cloud Azure DevOps Engineer About the Role In this role, you will design, build, and maintain scalable cloud infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines on Microsoft Azure, enabling fast, secure, and reliable delivery of applications across the organisation. You'll work closely with software engineers, cloud architects, and security teams to drive DevOps best practices and continuous improvement. This role requires at least Australian Citizenship and the ability to obtain security clearance. Key Responsibilities Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps Build and maintain cloud infrastructure on Microsoft Azure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) Automate deployments, monitoring, and operational tasks to improve reliability and efficiency Collaborate with development teams to support application builds, releases, and deployments Implement security, compliance, and governance best practices within Azure environments Monitor system performance, availability, and cost optimisation Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure and deployment issues Contribute to DevOps standards, documentation, and continuous improvement initiatives Required Skills & Experience 5 years of experience in a DevOps, Cloud, or Platform Engineering role Proven experience with Azure DevOps (Pipelines, Repos, Boards, Artifacts) Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform, ARM, or Bicep Solid understanding of CI/CD principles and DevOps best practices Experience with container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes / AKS) Strong scripting skills (PowerShell, Bash, or Python) Experience with monitoring and logging tools (Azure Monitor, Application Insights, etc.) Strong communication skills and ability to work in a collaborative team environment
