They are looking for Fabricators/Qualified Welder to join their mechanical fabrication workshop in Campbelltown on day shift. Benefits: Supportive team environment with opportunities to learn and grow Full-time hours in a busy manufacturing environment Temporary-to-permanent opportunity after 6 months Competitive hourly rate depending on experience and qualification Potential for overtime and Saturday work Job Details Monday to Friday 6am- 2pm Overtime plus Saturday work Fabricators depending on experience $40/hr - $45/hr Qualified Welder/fabricator $52/hr Immediate start for the right person About the Role: We are seeking a skilled and motivated Fabricator or Qualified Welder/Fabricator to join their growing team. The role focuses on fabricating high-quality fire suppression/sprinkler and mechanical systems across residential, industrial, and commercial projects. This is a hands-on position ideal for someone who takes pride in precision, safety and teamwork. Key Responsibilities: Fabricating and fitting sprinkler pipe systems Cutting pipes to required sizes and according to specifications Following design drawings and technical specifications Operating plasma cutters and a range of hand and power tools Assisting with installation and fabrication tasks on-site Demonstrating a willingness to learn and develop welding skills For qualified welders – required to conduct welding tasks Safely operate workshop equipment where necessary Maintain a clean and safe working environment in line with WHS standards Requirements: Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident Minimum 2 years’ experience in Fabrication Trade qualification in Engineering – Fabrication or in Boilermaking is desirable Experience in MIG/TIG welding is desirable Solid knowledge and experience using hand and power tools Ability to read and follow design specifications and drawings Willingness to learn welding (training/support provided) If you believe you are the right fit for this opportunity, hit apply now!
