Operating nationally, we support complex, high-risk operations through a strong focus on safety, teamwork, and reliability. Our fleet operates nationwide, and we’re looking for an experienced Diesel Mechanic to help keep our vehicles safe, compliant and road-ready . About the role You’ll be responsible for maintaining and repairing heavy diesel vehicles across our fleet. This is a hands-on role with a mix of workshop work and fleet support, working closely with operational teams to keep vehicles on the road. What you’ll be doing Servicing, diagnosing and repairing heavy diesel vehicles Preventative maintenance and safety inspections Fault-finding across mechanical, electrical and hydraulic systems Attending breakdowns where practical Commissioning new vehicles and equipment Maintaining a ccurate service and compliance records Supporting fleet operations and improvement initiatives About you Certificate III in Diesel Automotive Technology (Heavy Vehicle) Proven experience working on trucks or heavy vehicles Current HR licence Strong safety focus and pride in workmanship Nice to have (not essential): Forklift licence Welding and hydraulics experience Towing, transport or roadside assistance experience Why Nationwide Group?
