Purpose: The Senior Enterprise Risk Manager plays a key role in shaping, uplifting and embedding enterprise risk management capability across Flight Centre Travel Group. The role supports the ongoing development of the Group’s enterprise risk architecture, frameworks and risk culture, ensuring risk management practices are consistent, forward‑looking and aligned to strategic decision‑making. Operating as part of the Group Enterprise Risk (Line 2) function, this role acts as a centre of excellence, providing expert risk advice, methodologies and insights to senior leaders, regional risk teams and specialist functions across the global business. The role contributes to Board and Executive‑level reporting and supports major strategic initiatives, including GRC design and implementation, transformation programs and M&A activity. Primary Accountabilities & Objectives: Enterprise Risk Framework Development: Lead the design, maintenance and ongoing uplift of enterprise risk management frameworks, taxonomies, policies, standards, methodologies and supporting guidance Risk Identification & Assessment: Develop enterprise-wide risk identification and assessment methodology, facilitate risk workshops/deep dives, develop training and support Risk Appetite, Metrics & Insights: Translate risk appetite into practical metrics, indicators and thresholds (e.g. KRIs) to support monitoring and escalation Risk Mitigation: Support development and maintenance of control libraries, control hierarchy, testing approaches and minimum control design expectations Reporting & Communication: Develop and prepare high‑quality enterprise risk reporting, dashboards and insights for senior management and Board Committees Regulatory Compliance & Governance: Support adherence to relevant regulatory requirements, ASX governance expectations and internal governance standards Stakeholder Engagement & Capability Uplift: Act as a trusted risk advisor to senior leaders, regional risk teams and specialist functions. Collaborate with risk colleagues and business leaders to embed risk awareness and integrate risk into strategic planning, M&A activities etc Incident & Crisis Management Support: Contribute to enterprise incident management, lessons‑learned analysis and thematic risk insights.
