About the role We are seeking a hardworking and diligent Systems Officer to join our team. In this busy and varied role, you’ll work closely with stakeholders across all divisions of the BMD Group while utilising the latest technology to support key business processes. You will be a natural relationship builder with excellent communication skills to: Assist with the implementation and delivery of training around Business Systems and Information Technology (IT) that are utilised by the business, for example updates within the Microsoft Suite, Hammertech, Civilpro. Assist with regional user queries by administering the IT, SharePoint and myJob Helpdesks for the region. Coordinate and assist with regional onboarding, inductions, and systems orientation. Supporting regional systems, management, and staff in upskilling around technical packages to ensure user acceptance. Non-technical Systems training/awareness (i.e. use of databases, myJob, SharePoint, etc. System User Acceptance Testing of developed items. Project site visits with key staff to provide technical support and office set up. Support and assist in end-to-end QA testing of pre deployment functionality for business applications. Support with Helpdesk Ticketing, inclusive of complete details, resolution / solution via knowledge articles, Provide feedback and suggestions to development team and IT Technical support teams, Issue / return / follow-up IT equipment (i.e. hardware such as phones, computers, tablets and site servers). Coordinate and assist (where appropriate) with training of new and current personnel. The successful candidate will be a self-starter with: Experience working in an end user support role (preferable) Proven ability to effectively communicate with a diverse range of internal stakeholders, both written and verbally Detail orientated, with an understanding of key business IT requirements and expectations Ability to adapt to a variety of technology, assist and train our people in the orientation of these items.
