We are looking for a passionate Solutions Architect to join our Professional Services team and help our customers on their journey to realise tangible business outcomes from technology through presales, "consult", "design", into "build", then "run & optimise". You will work on the design and development of IT solutions architecture to support customers and business strategies. Work with the sales teams to translate customer business requirements into Statements of Work (SOW) or Proposals - some via formal RFQ/RFI processes. Provide technical content and accurate costings for client proposals. Ensure that proposals are technically sound and represent the optimum technical solution within defined constraints. Work closely with the sales teams, to lead the design, development and deployment of technical solutions to meet business requirements that are cost effective and sustainable. Provide oversight to engineering staff on customer projects. Provide high-level design standards and guidance when delivering the design solution. Ensure a seamless hand-over to the customer and operations support staff. What we'd love to see? Knowledgeable Solutions Architect with experience in presales, ideally in a MSP environment Confidence presenting to a customer with a strong technical presence Ability to lead and develop cutting edge solutions that meet customer needs and deliver business outcomes Subject Matter Expert in Hybrid Cloud & Infrastructure, i.e. Private Cloud (VMware), Public Cloud (AWS and/or Azure), Microsoft (O365, EntraID, Active Directory, DNS), Intune Knowledge of Operating Systems (Windows, Linux/Unix), databases (SQL, Oracle), Servers, Storage, Backup solutions. Exceptional oral and written communication skills, with proven document/report writing ability. Relevant Industry certifications such as AWS, Azure, MCSE, VCP, etc. Even if you don’t check every box, your passion and curiosity matter.
