The Product Delivery & Compliance Advisor is accountable for managing and executing the bank’s product delivery and compliance obligations in alignment with governance frameworks and regulatory requirements. This role bridges product strategy and execution, coordinating successful delivery of the bank’s customer promises, product changes and new developments while ensuring robust compliance standards across all banking products. This role can be based out of Head Office Collingwood or Mascot), Bendigo, Moe, Traralgon, or Canberra What you will be doing Develop, implement, and continuously improve the product governance, disclosure, and compliance framework, including Design and Distribution obligations. Monitor regulatory changes, conduct impact assessments, and lead implementation of updated compliance requirements. Oversee compliance reviews, risk assessments, audits, and breach investigations, preparing reports for senior leadership and board committees. Manage incident investigations and remediation plans for product compliance breaches and complaints. Define change requirements and manage end-to-end product delivery, ensuring timelines, scope, and quality objectives are met. Coordinate with stakeholders to provide delivery updates, KPIs, and performance reporting. What you will bring Extensive experience in compliance, regulatory management, and product delivery within banking, financial services, or other highly regulated industries. Strong understanding of banking products, business processes, and regulatory requirements, including product governance and disclosure obligations. Proven ability to manage compliance frameworks, monitor industry trends, and provide practical advice on risk and regulatory changes. Experience in project management methodologies and tools (e.g., Jira), with a track record of delivering projects on time and to a high standard. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills - able to build collaborative relationships and influence outcomes. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess risks, identify root causes, and implement effective solutions. Relevant tertiary qualifications in product management, audit, law, commerce, business, project management, or risk management.
