Company: Mercer Description: Senior Product Manager – Investment Fund Product The Senior Product Manager role is a key member of Mercer’s Investment Fund Product team, responsible for leading the initiation, management, and implementation of investment fund product changes and new product development. This is a 12-month fixed-term contract role that involves close collaboration with senior product managers, project managers, and stakeholders across the business, including senior management and executive leadership. This position is ideal for an organised, results-driven professional with strong communication skills and a deep understanding of investment fund products and regulatory environments. We will count on you to: Lead the implementation of institutional and bespoke client solutions, including investment fund product launches, terminations, and mergers. Prepare and present reports to the Board and Audit & Risk Committees on investment fund product changes and initiatives. Drive legislative change implementation and fund deregistration processes as required. Collaborate with Communications to ensure effective product change communication across internal and external stakeholders. What you need to have: Tertiary qualification in business, finance, accounting, legal, management, or a related field. 7–10 years of experience in financial services, including a minimum of 5 years’ product management experience managing unit trust products within a funds management environment. Proven project management experience, including engaging with stakeholders such as custody, finance, fund accounting, tax, legal, and other operational functions. Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements relating to managed investment schemes, including ASIC regulations and relevant legislation such as the Corporations Act and Income Tax Assessment Act. Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, including PowerPoint, Excel, Word, and SharePoint. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders. Highly organised with strong prioritisation and time management skills, able to work effectively under pressure. RG146 qualification is required.
