The key duties of the position include The Role Become a vital part of the RAAF's Air Warfare Engineering Squadron (AWE SQN), supporting aircraft and flight trials as an Electrical & Avionics Technical Specialist/Engineer. This position offers a wide variety of challenging and rewarding tasks, as well as the opportunity to be involved in supporting Army, Navy and Air Force flight trials. Your specialist electrical knowledge will be utilised within Systems Development Flight: Engineer designs across all Australian Defence Force platforms in the maritime, aviation domains, including designs on highly specialised flight test instrumentation support of aircraft stores compatibility flight clearances; Provide on-site engineering and technical expertise on in-service capability to support customers; Plan and execute aerospace air and ground verification and validation activities; Provide technical advice, analysis and recommendations on aerospace systems across the broader organisation; Conduct technical investigations, report findings and provide recommendations to management.
