About The Position: A private practice in Wonthaggi is looking for an extra GP to join the team and become a crucial part of the primary healthcare system to service the growing community. The town has a rich mining history and a beautiful coastal sightseeing drive. Wonthaggi is considered MM4 and is a DPA location as well. Your Key Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following: To provide primary medical care to patients, including health assessments, accurate diagnoses and treatment of a wide range of health conditions. Maintain excellent medical practice, including updating and maintaining your professional knowledge. Maintaining trust and a professional relationship with your patients. Working collaboratively with colleagues. Maintaining integrity in professional practice. Your Desired Skills, Experience and Qualifications: Medical Degree, Current General or Specialist Registration as a General Practitioner in Australia Current Medical Indemnity Permanent Residency or Australian Citizenship Preferred. Preferable experience in Regional or Rural Victoria. Effective communication and interpersonal skills for effective patient interactions and collaboration with colleagues.
