About the role: The Project Officer will provide high-quality administrative, coordination and compliance support for property, fleet, and related projects, ensuring timely delivery, adherence to governance standards and effective stakeholder communication. The role is critical in maintaining accurate documentation, supporting procurement and contract processes, and enabling efficient project execution across the organisation. This role assists with project planning, coordination, documentation and reporting, while supporting tender processes, contract management, and stakeholder communication. The position contributes to maintaining compliance standards and efficient project execution across the organisation This is a Full-Time Fixed Term (12 Month Contract) opportunity based in South Melbourne, VIC within our Corporate Services. The position reports to the General Manager Property and Fleet. Key Selection Criteria: To be successful in this role, the incumbent will have: Previous experience in either Facilities Management, Contract Administration or Project Management. Relevant tertiary qualification in Project Management and/or other related business qualifications desirable. Demonstrated time management skills, with the ability to manage deadlines and multiple competing priorities while maintaining momentum across deliverables. Understanding of Essential Safety Measures, National Construction Code and statutory obligations.
