ABOUT THE ROLE As a People & Culture Business Partner, you will work closely with leaders to translate organisational strategy into practical, sustainable workforce outcomes. This is a true partnering role, balancing strategic workforce planning, leadership enablement and organisational change with practical, technically sound HR delivery across the employee lifecycle. You will play a key role in building leader capability, managing people risk and ensuring people practices are compliant, human-centred and future-focused. What you’ll be doing: Partnering with leaders on complex people matters, including performance management, conduct, grievances and employment risk Providing practical, trusted advice across Australian and New Zealand employment law, workplace relations and WHS Supporting workforce planning, capability uplift and organisational change aligned to strategic priorities Coaching leaders to build accountability, performance and inclusive team cultures Translating people strategy into actionable initiatives—from onboarding and development through to retention and succession Using people data and insights to inform decisions, manage risk and drive meaningful outcomes Contributing to future-ready workforce initiatives, including reskilling and adapting to AI-enabled ways of working ABOUT YOU You are a credible People & Culture professional who is comfortable partnering with senior leaders and equally confident navigating complex, hands-on employment matters. You bring sound judgement, pragmatism and a contemporary perspective on how people practices enable organisational performance. We’re particularly keen to hear from you if you bring: Demonstrated experience in HR business partnering, or you are a senior People & Culture Advisor ready to step into a broader strategic role Strong, practical knowledge of Australian and New Zealand employment law, workplace relations and WHS Experience supporting organisational change, workforce planning and capability development Confidence managing complex employee relations matters with professionalism and care The ability to influence and challenge leaders constructively while building trusted relationships Digital fluency, including experience with HRIS and using emerging technologies (including AI tools) to enhance people practices A pragmatic, solutions-focused mindset that balances risk, compliance and employee experience Comfort working in ambiguity and helping leaders navigate change with clarity and confidence This role requires confidence operating independently on complex people matters while knowing when to collaborate and escalate appropriately. Curiosity, resilience and a commitment to continuous learning Qualifications Tertiary qualification or equivalent experience in Human Resources, Employment Relations or Business Professional accreditation or membership (AHRI, HRNZ, CIPD, SHRM) desirable Why join us?
