Manual Tester - UAT & System Testing (Contract) We are seeking an experienced Manual Tester to support a short-term system implementation project, with a strong focus on unit testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), and data validation. This role suits someone who is methodical, detail-oriented, and comfortable working closely with business stakeholders during a critical delivery phase. The Role You will be responsible for executing structured test cases, validating end-to-end business processes, and ensuring data accuracy as part of a new system rollout. You'll work collaboratively with project and business teams to support testing, defect identification, and readiness for go-live. Key Responsibilities Execute unit testing and UAT based on provided test cases Record test results clearly and accurately (e.g. spreadsheets or agreed tools) Identify, document, and retest defects and issues Perform end-to-end scenario testing to validate real-world user journeys Support data validation and reconciliation between legacy and new systems Participate in collaborative testing sessions and knowledge sharing Work independently while contributing effectively within a small project team What We're Looking For Proven experience as a Manual Tester / UAT Tester Strong attention to detail and a structured testing approach Experience testing business systems (CRM or member/customer platforms highly regarded) Comfortable following defined test cases and also thinking critically beyond them Confident communicating issues and outcomes with both technical and non-technical stakeholders Able to learn business rules, products, and processes quickly Contract Details Short-term contract Melbourne-based role (hybrid / on-site depending on project needs) Immediate or near-immediate start preferred This is a hands-on testing role for someone who enjoys getting into the detail, ensuring quality, and helping projects land successfully.
