Architect enterprise platforms enabling digital energy capabilities Lead architecture across D365, Azure integration, billing and smart metering enablement 6-month initial contract with strong extension options in a multi-year program About the Opportunity This role focuses on shaping and governing solution architecture across enterprise platforms and integration layers that support customer, billing and operational outcomes in a utilities/energy context. You'll provide architecture leadership across Microsoft Dynamics 365 (including Finance & Operations / FinOps), Azure integration and enterprise applications, ensuring solutions are secure, scalable and aligned to standards. Utilities or energy industry experience is not essential - however, you must understand how a utilities-style environment works from a billing and customer lifecycle perspective, including how platforms integrate across customer, meter data, pricing/tariffs, invoicing and payments. A key part of this role is acting as an architectural authority - holding vendors accountable, challenging assumptions and ensuring delivery meets expectations. What You'll Do Lead architecture workshops and align stakeholders on solution direction across technology and business teams Own solution architecture and governance across enterprise platforms including Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (FinOps), Dynamics CE and Power Platform Design scalable integration patterns across Azure services, APIs and enterprise data flows supporting billing, payments and customer lifecycle processes Ensure solutions comply with architecture governance, security, integration and performance principles Support delivery teams through implementation, integration and migration phases, ensuring outcomes remain aligned to architectural intent Review vendor solution designs and delivery outcomes, pushing back where required to ensure standards and expectations are met Drive uplift of legacy platforms into modern, supportable Microsoft-based architectures What You Bring Strong enterprise or solution architecture experience across large-scale transformation programs Demonstrated experience architecting Microsoft Dynamics 365 including D365 Finance & Operations (FinOps) and/or Dynamics CE within complex enterprise environments Strong understanding of end-to-end billing and customer lifecycle processes including pricing, invoicing, payments, reconciliation and customer service integration Solid integration capability across Azure, middleware, APIs and data platforms to enable reliable enterprise interoperability Proven ability to manage vendors and delivery partners, enforce architecture standards and challenge designs where required Ability to communicate architecture clearly to both technical and business audiences Understanding of utilities and energy desired Apply Now!
