The Role FHR currently have an opportunity for an experienced Maintenance Fitter to join our client located in Wacol. We have immediate starts available for the candidate who is successful in their application for these positions. Benefits: Enjoy a competitive package of $100,000 to $107,000 plus super (pending experience) This role offers work Monday to Friday, hours worked between 6am to 4pm Elevate your career within the organisation with potential for progression Experience a workplace culture that prioritises health and safety, ensuring a secure environment for you to perform your duties Key Responsibilities Preventative & Corrective Maintenance Perform planned and reactive mechanical maintenance on cut-and-bend machinery, welding systems, conveyors, presses, and ancillary plant to maximise equipment availability and production uptime. Mechanical Diagnostics & Repairs Conduct advanced fault-finding and repairs across mechanical systems including gearboxes, bearings, chain and belt drives, hydraulic and pneumatic circuits, shafts, and rotating equipment. Plant Installation & Modifications Support installation, alignment, commissioning, and modification of production machinery and plant upgrades in accordance with engineering drawings, specifications, and OEM standards. Hydraulic & Pneumatic Systems Maintenance Inspect, service, and repair hydraulic and pneumatic systems, including pumps, valves, cylinders, compressors, and air lines to ensure safe and reliable operation. Safety, Compliance & Risk Control Execute maintenance activities in strict accordance with WHS legislation, site safety procedures, isolation and lock-out/tag-out requirements, SWMS, and permit-to-work systems. Maintenance Reporting & Continuous Improvement Complete detailed maintenance records, fault reports, and work orders using a CMMS, while contributing to root cause analysis, reliability improvements, and continuous improvement initiatives.
