We are currently seeking an experienced Senior Mine Geologist to join a well-established gold mining operation in Western Australia. This role offers the opportunity to play a key part in operational decision-making while leading and mentoring a site-based geology team. The Role Reporting to the Geology Manager, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality geological support to mining operations. The role is hands-on and operationally focused, working closely with mining, planning, and engineering teams to maximise ore recovery and ensure geological integrity. Key Responsibilities Lead grade control and mine geology activities across the operation Geological interpretation, ore boundary definition, and reconciliation Supervise, mentor, and develop Mine Geologists and field technicians Ensure QA/QC of geological data, sampling, and logging practices Collaborate with mine planning and production teams to support short- and medium-term plans Maintain compliance with safety, environmental, and company standards About You Degree qualified in Geology or Earth Sciences Extensive experience in gold mining operations Strong background in grade control and mine geology Proven leadership experience mentoring junior geologists Solid understanding of geological modelling and reconciliation Strong communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally What’s On Offer Competitive remuneration package or contract rate FIFO or residential options depending on site Long-term opportunity with a stable gold producer Supportive technical team and strong operational focus Career development and progression opportunities If you’re a Senior Mine Geologist looking to take the next step in your career with a reputable gold operation, we’d like to hear from you.
