Salary packaging benefits (up to $15,900 tax-free) Full-time or permanent part-time (0.8 FTE) About the Role As the Marketing & Communications Lead, you’ll be at the forefront of our communication and engagement strategy. Embracing our values of courtesy and kindness, and reporting to the Chief Executive, your work will directly support our brand, digital presence, and stakeholder relationships across the organisation. Main duties/responsibilities: Develop and lead all internal and external communications and engagement initiatives across St Basil’s. Collaborate with business units, General Managers, and key stakeholders to deliver consistent messaging. Draft engaging content for all audiences and channels, including our website, social media, brochures, and internal platforms. Lead working groups such as Communications and Event Management Teams to support organisational objectives. Prepare and distribute timely, accurate communications for families and staff, supporting the Executive Leadership Team. Work with our external design company to ensure brand consistency and manage sub-brand development. Plan and coordinate marketing collateral and logistics for events managed by the Corporate Team and Community Services Lead. Monitor and enhance our digital presence by scheduling posts, sourcing stories, responding to comments, and analysing engagement across social media. Update and maintain website content, ensuring accuracy and alignment with organisational objectives. Track and report on marketing activities, using analytics to guide recommendations. Lead proactive and reactive media management in consultation with the Chief Executive. Build and maintain strong relationships with staff, leaders, and external stakeholders. Support project management and participate in organisation-wide leadership meetings as required. What you will bring to the role: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or equivalent experience. Proven experience with content management systems (e.g., WordPress), email marketing (e.g., Mailchimp), and social media management tools. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and basic graphic design (Canva, Adobe Creative Cloud). Experience in event coordination and media relations. Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage sensitively and effectively with diverse stakeholders. Exceptional organisational, time management, and multitasking abilities. High attention to detail and commitment to confidentiality. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
