Our client in Mackay require an Experienced Fitter to join their growing team. ASAP Start! Hours and rate: Workshop Hours: Monday - Friday 6am - 2.00pm Site Work Hours: Upto 12 hour shifts travel time $53ph additional site rate $ Overtime! Duties and Responsibilities: Working in the Mackay Workshop and occasionally doing Site work. (Site days upto 12hr shifts travel times) Conducting Rotary duties (sealings, bearings, bearing housings, spherical roller bearing units) Assisting with the dismantling, inspecting, fault finding and rebuilding of slurry pumps. Assembling and pressure testing pumps. Applying lubrication on equipment Use of rigging equipment (cranes or hoists) Ability to do occasional shut down/projects Potential for interstate work as required About you: Must have a Trade - Turner/Fitter Machinist or equivalent Must have full working rights Must have a valid Driver Licence Physically fit Very strong attention to detail Safety conscious and the ability to adhere to WHS policies and procedures Reliable, punctual and hard working Ability to work with a multi person team or multi shift team Desirable requirements but not limited to: Overhead crane experience Dogman ticket Rigging ticket Fork lift ticket Benefits All required tooling will be supplied Excellent team culture Great hourly rate Additional Site Rate Overtime rates If you feel you meet the requirements of the position, please click, ' Apply Now ' Please note that only Experienced candidates will be shortlisted!
