About the Role: Ipswich Salvos Stores are seeking a fashion-focused Sales Assistant to support the Store Manager with day-to-day operations and help deliver an inspiring in-store experience for our customers and community. This is a permanent part-time role (23 hours per week) based in Ipswich, QLD and is suited to someone who enjoys fashion, has an eye for presentation, and takes pride in how a store looks and feels. You Will Assist With: Retail sales and operation of Point-of-Sale systems. Collecting, sorting and pricing donations, with a strong eye for quality garments and on-trend pieces . Visual merchandising , including window displays, outfit styling and maintaining appealing store presentation. Identifying current fashion trends and presenting stock in a way that maximises impact and sales. Delivering exceptional customer service and styling advice. Displaying stock in correct departments, following policy and procedure. Maintaining a safe working environment in line with WHS requirements. Demonstrating The Salvation Army’s core values in all work-related activities. About You: A strong interest in fashion, styling and visual merchandising , with the ability to recognise quality garments and current trends. Experience in retail sales is highly regarded but not essential A creative eye for window dressing and store presentation. Passionate about delivering excellent customer service in a dynamic retail environment. High-energy, hands-on team player with strong communication and interpersonal skills. Flexible to work a rolling roster including weekends and across various locations within the retail area.
