We’re seeking a motivated and reliable General Hand / Yard Hand to join our client’s team at their civil construction warehouse for ongoing work. About the Role Our client is seeking a dependable and hands-on General Hand / Yard Hand to support daily operations at their warehouse. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys staying active, keeping things organised, and ensuring equipment and materials are stored, maintained, and readily available. You’ll play a key role in keeping the warehouse running efficiently and safely. Your Day-to-Day May Include: Ensuring all tools, plant, and civil equipment are stored in the correct locations Loading and unloading materials and equipment for site deliveries Stock taking, inventory control, and reporting shortages or damaged items Maintaining a clean, organised, and safe yard and warehouse environment Assisting with general labouring and manual handling tasks Conducting basic inspections of tools and equipment Supporting warehouse and site teams as required Following all safety procedures, PPE requirements, and company policies Requirements: Previous experience as a General Hand, Yard Hand, or Storeperson (civil/construction preferred) Good physical fitness and ability to perform manual tasks safely Strong attention to detail and organisational skills Reliable, punctual, and able to work unsupervised Positive attitude and willingness to help where needed Safety-first mindset and commitment to workplace standards Previous experience using electric palette jacks White Card required Forklift licence and HR licence highly regarded What We Offer: Competitive hourly rates, paid weekly Ongoing work with a reputable civil construction company A safe, inclusive, and supportive work environment If you’re ready to get stuck in and be part of a professional team, hit the Apply Now button and send us your application today, or contact me directly at aine@harrisonbarrattgroup.com.au.
