Description Join us on the journey We are currently recruiting for a Casual Groundsperson to join the Spotless team at Yongah Hill Immigration Detention Centre (YHIDC) in Northam. Spotless, as a subcontractor to Secure Journeys, is responsible for delivering grounds maintenance services under supervision, ensuring the ongoing upkeep and compliance of land management requirements across the site. What You'll Do This is a hands-on role with a broad scope of responsibilities, including: Supporting the Leading Hand (Land Management) with routine grounds maintenance activities to ensure estates are well maintained Conducting regular grounds and garden maintenance across the facility Delivering high-quality grounds and gardens performance outcomes Identifying and managing risks associated with grounds maintenance activities Contributing to the overall presentation, safety, and upkeep of the site Cleaning experience would be an added advantage. What You'll bring Certificate III in Horticulture (desirable) WHS White Card Proven experience in grounds maintenance, with knowledge of horticulture and irrigation systems Medium or Heavy Rigid Truck Licence and Chainsaw Operator Licence/Certificate (desirable) Current and valid driver’s licence More than anything, you’ll bring a strong work ethic, a positive attitude, and a genuine commitment to delivering high-quality outcomes for our clients.
