Description We currently have an opportunity for a Project Engineer to join our team, with relevant Building Services background. This position will support the Riverina Redevelopment Joint Venture (RRJV), which is a 50/50 joint venture between Downer and CPB Contractors to undertake major upgrades and replacement of existing infrastructure and facilities. We are seeking candidates with NV1 Security Clearance to be part of our team on the redevelopment project, covering the Albury Wodonga Military Area, Blamey Barracks (Kapooka) and the RAAF Base Wagga. This is a site-based role for the RAAF Base Wagga area, with relocation packages being offered. What you’ll do The role has a broad remit, with key responsibilities outlined below: Operational management of Riverina Redevelopment Program (RRP) Projects to deliver optimum results whilst maintaining a Zero Harm environment, cost and quality delivery as tendered. Contribute to the preparation of operational Project Budget and plans, in accordance with current BU/Group requirements Oversee business performance/systems and provide recommendations for business improvement/ growth. Assist and undertake contract planning and management of resources required. Examine contract documents and drawings pre work. Identification and estimation of risks and opportunities. What you’ll bring A relevant Engineering/Project Management Degree with relevant industry experience. Proven engineering experience delivering complex construction projects of medium to large scale. Demonstrated capability gained in a business / project management role at similar level. Experience in preparation and management of operational budgets and reviewing financial information.
