Due to ongoing growth, we require a Metal Fabricator to join our team. We are seeking an experienced Metal Fabricator preferentially with road sweeper knowledge, but not essential. What you'll need: Possess initiative and a strong work ethic. Commitment to safety Excellent planning and organizational skills The ability to work unsupervised and make a proven contribution to a team environment. Duties and Responsibilities Your role is to: Fabricate Metal components for street and industrial sweepers Repair worn or damage parts such as hoppers, chutes, frames, guards, and brackets Weld and assemble steel and aluminium components Modify existing equipment to improve performance or durability Read basic drawings, measurements, and job instructions Use workshop tools and machinery to cut, bend and shape metal Inspect finish work fo strength, fit and quality Follow safety procedures, keep workshop tidy and clean. Qualification and Experience: Certificate III in Engineering – Fabrication Trade or Equivalent Valid C Class Drivers License MR/HR License Minimum 5 years' experience in as a Metal fabricator
