Trimax Mowing Systems is looking for an Internal Sales & Lead Development specialist to play a pivotal role in managing inbound leads, supporting sales activity, and owning the day-to-day use of CRM across our business. This is a hands-on role at the centre of our internal sales engine, connecting customers, dealers, sales reps, and production teams. YOUR ROLE As our Internal Sales & Lead Development specialist, you’ll be responsible for managing inbound enquiries and leads, maintaining CRM accuracy, supporting the sales pipeline, and ensuring customers and dealers receive timely, professional support. You’ll work closely with the Australian sales, production, and warehouse teams, balancing lead development, internal sales coordination, and system ownership. In addition to inbound enquiries, you will also support proactive lead development by identifying potential customer targets, building prospect lists, and conducting outbound outreach to generate new opportunities. Where appropriate, you may also progress and close sales remotely (in line with agreed pricing and approval processes), handing over to field sales or dealers when required. WHAT YOU'LL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR Managing and qualifying inbound sales enquiries and leads using the CRM Ensuring leads are accurately captured, assigned, followed up, and progressed through the pipeline Supporting internal sales activity from quotation through to order placement Maintaining CRM data integrity, reporting, and pipeline visibility Acting as a key point of contact for customers and dealers via phone, email, webchat, and CRM Coordinating with sales, production, and warehouse teams to support order flow and customer expectations Supporting and guiding sales team members in effective CRM usage Identifying opportunities to improve lead handling, sales processes, and CRM efficiency Proactively identifying and researching potential customers, building prospect lists, and conducting outbound lead generation activity (calls/emails/LinkedIn) Developing early-stage opportunities through follow-up, qualification, and nurturing to convert targets into qualified leads] Progressing suitable opportunities through quoting and negotiation, and closing deals remotely where appropriate WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR Demonstrated success in a similar role, ideally you’ll be ready to hit the ground running Experience in internal sales, lead development, sales administration support, and/or customer-facing roles Strong hands-on experience using CRM systems, ideally Hubspot and CRM Confident communicator who enjoys qualifying leads, supporting sales conversations, cold calling and proactive outbound outreach Highly organised with strong attention to detail and follow-through Comfortable working across multiple priorities and stakeholders A proactive, customer-focused mindset Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills. Comfortable researching and building target customer/prospect lists and converting them into qualified opportunities Commercially minded, with the ability to progress opportunities through to close remotely where appropriate WHY THIS ROLE This is a busy, hands-on position where no two days will be the same.
