We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to lead the day-to-day operations at our Smeaton Grange site. This is a senior leadership role, critical to ensuring safe, efficient and high-performing operations while building a strong pipeline of future capability. Reporting to the Site Manager, you will play a key role on the Site Steering Team, driving operational excellence, continuous improvement and a strong safety and people-focused culture. Description About the Role As Operations Manager, you will be accountable for the end-to-end performance of site operations balancing daily execution with a strategic view of systems, people and capability. Key responsibilities include: Leading production and logistics teams to deliver agreed production and distribution plans within budget Championing Zero Harm and ensuring compliance with all food safety, WHS and legislative requirements Driving continuous improvement through the One Harvest Production System (OPS) Delivering balanced operational KPIs across safety, quality, service, cost and people Building bench strength, succession plans and capability across operations and logistics Partnering with Engineering, Technical, Planning and People & Capability teams Leading change initiatives, including CI, automation and systems improvements Managing union, internal and external stakeholder relationships What You’ll Bring Essential Senior operations leadership experience within FMCG, food manufacturing or short shelf-life environments Proven experience driving change, continuous improvement and team capability Demonstrated commitment to food safety, GMP, HACCP and workplace safety Desirable Lean, CI, TPM or Six Sigma accreditation Experience supporting automation or large-scale process change Prior site leadership or deputy site management experience Exposure to unionised environments Why Join Us?
