ConsultANZ is looking for a skilled Project Manager to work with a well-established civil engineering company in Auckland to manage $8-10 million package other works. Main Duties Your responsibilities will include such as, but not limited to: Creating progress reports and setting goals for the next reporting period to keep the team focused and moving forward. Strong communication skills with the ability to manage a team including Administrative staff, Engineers, Supervisors and Foreman. Weekly & monthly project reporting to client & management. Overall you will be controlling all aspects of the projects including H&S, commercial & contractual aspects. Securing safety and quality control by providing information on safety and quality control measures and any steps taken to ensure that work meets the necessary standards. Requirements The successful candidate will bring to the role: 8 years of relevant post-grad experience in a similar role, ideally 3 years of experience in project management. Ability to communicate effectively with the client and different teams to set and achieve targets. Driven to deliver projects on time and within budget. Experience across Civils including Land Development, Commercial Site Works, Roading, Pipelines and Drainages. Proficient using either CCS Candy, Primavera P6 or another relevant planning package – able to schedule and program projects and create master schedules, reporting etc. Good general skills across planning programming, cost reporting, technical skills, contractual acumen, and procurement.
