Client Our client is a well-established agribusiness operating across Australia, New Zealand and the wider Southeast Asia and Oceania region. The business supplies technical products and services to the dairy industry and works closely with distribution partners, internal sales teams and customers to grow market share and product adoption. They are now seeking an experienced Market Development and Sales Support Leader to lead their regional MDSS function. Role & Responsibilities This is a senior, hands-on leadership role with responsibility for market development, product support and sales enablement across the region. The successful candidate will: Lead and manage the Market Development & Sales Support (MDSS) team (5 FTE) across the region. Drive market development initiatives aligned to regional business priorities. Support the sales organisation through product positioning, pricing input, promotions and go-to-market activity. Build product capability across internal teams, dealers and customers. Develop and deliver marketing and sales support plans in line with the annual business and marketing calendar. Manage product portfolio activity including data accuracy, lifecycle management and channel support. Build strong working relationships with internal stakeholders, distributors and key customers. Requirements Relevant tertiary qualification in agriculture, animal science, marketing, business or a related discipline (postgraduate preferred). Proven experience in sales support, market development, product management or sales and marketing leadership. Strong understanding of the dairy industry and commercial supply chains (preferred). Demonstrated people leadership experience, including leading diverse and geographically spread teams. Commercial mindset with the ability to balance market growth, pricing and customer satisfaction. Remuneration and Location Competitive remuneration package, commensurate with experience. Location: Australia or New Zealand (flexible, with regional travel required).
