Your key responsibilities: Undertake research, environmental scanning and critical analysis to identify and advise on future strategic policy challenges, opportunities, priorities and issues including intradepartmental and interdepartmental policy priorities. Initiate and manage, in consultation with key stakeholders (Commonwealth and State), the development of strategic policies that address priority health issues, population groups and reforms in the health system. Provide expert advice and support on the development of strategic and State-wide policy and issues for Queensland Health that is consistent with strategic priorities. Role fit The essential requirements for this role are: An understanding of contemporary issues related to the health - housing and homelessness interface. High-level strategic, conceptual, leadership and analytical skills relevant to a range of social and health priority areas. The ability to manage projects, undertake research, interpret trends and provide detailed critical analysis of reports, discussion papers and other documentation and to provide advice on policies and strategies.
