About The Company We are partnering with a private equity backed business that has recently been acquired and is entering an exciting phase of growth and transformation. Based in the Brisbane CBD, this is a newly created standalone Finance Manager role. This role will suit a technically strong Chartered Accountant who enjoys ownership, visibility and working closely with senior stakeholders in a fast paced, commercial environment. About The Role Reporting directly to the executive team and working closely with the private equity owners, you will take full ownership of the finance function, with responsibilities including: End to end financial reporting and month end close Preparation of statutory accounts and management reports Budgeting, forecasting and cash flow management Oversight of audit processes and external advisors Improving financial controls, processes and reporting frameworks Supporting commercial decision making and growth initiatives Acting as the key finance contact for the private equity stakeholders About You You are a detail-oriented and technically strong Finance Manager who enjoys working in a dynamic and collaborative environment. With excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, you are confident working both independently and as part of a team. You take pride in delivering accurate results, supporting process improvements, and contributing to organisational goals. The Requirements CA Qualified Strong knowledge of accounting standards (AASB/IFRS) Comprehensive understanding of accounting standards. Background in Big Four or business advisory is required Comfortable operating in a standalone role with broad responsibility Commercial mindset with the ambition to step into a Finance Manager role Brisbane based and happy to work five days a week in the office Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. Experience in a commercial environment (outside of audit) is essential.
