Our client operates in the flow control space , supplying, supporting, and servicing critical equipment used across industrial, trade, and commercial environments. They’re known for technical know-how, strong customer relationships, and doing things properly. This role sits right at the centre of the business. The Opportunity Based in the Melbourne office, you’ll be the first point of contact for a loyal and repeat customer base. You’ll support customers from the initial enquiry right through to order completion, coordinating internally to make sure everything runs smoothly. It’s a varied role that blends internal sales, customer service, and operational support, ideal for someone who likes having visibility across the whole process rather than being siloed. Hours: Monday to Thursday: 8:00 am – 4:30 pm Friday: early finish at 4:00 pm The Role You’ll be trusted to manage the day-to-day flow of enquiries and orders, while building strong working relationships with customers who value responsiveness and reliability. Your responsibilities will include: Acting as the first point of contact for trade and retail customers Providing product guidance and basic technical support (training provided) Preparing quotes and processing orders end-to-end Managing invoicing, payments, and system data entry Coordinating logistics and supporting on-time delivery Assisting the wider team with general administrative tasks as required No two days are the same, and that’s part of the appeal. About You You don’t need to be a technical expert on day one. What matters most is attitude, organisation, and your ability to think on your feet. You’ll likely bring: Experience in internal sales, customer service, or sales administration Exposure to industrial, technical, or trade-based environments Clear, confident communication skills The ability to work autonomously and manage competing priorities A practical, “let’s get it sorted” mindset If you’ve worked around industrial equipment, flow control, tools, or technical products, that’s a strong advantage but not essential.
