Position: Cloud Engineer Location: Perth, WA Rate: Negotiable, depending on experience Job Type: 6-Month Contract (with potential for extension) Position Overview: OUI Recruitment is seeking an experienced Cloud Engineer for a government department in Perth. This is a hands-on support role working with a development team to support Azure infrastructure. You'll troubleshoot issues and ensure everything runs smoothly. Roles and Responsibilities: Provision Azure App Services, App Service Environments, SQL Database, and Storage Accounts Configure Virtual Networks, subnets, NSGs, and private endpoints Manage Azure Key Vault and security services Support Application Gateway and WAF configuration Troubleshoot infrastructure and connectivity issues Implement monitoring using Azure Monitor and Log Analytics Use PowerShell for automation and administration Maintain technical documentation Provide infrastructure support to the development team Ensure compliance with government security requirements Role Requirements: 3 years hands-on as Cloud Engineer with Azure infrastructure experience Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Good communication skills with technical and non-technical people Experience working with development teams We appreciate your interest in this opportunity.
