About the Role To meet the requirements for the Snowy Hydro 2.0 project our client requires a TA coordinator to join the team in Smithfield and Cooma, responsible for all aspects of the recruitment and on-boarding process for local SH 2.0 project team members. This is a unique opportunity for a coordinator to take part in an exciting Australian project, on a contract basis (6 to 12 months) with opportunity for extension. Key Responsibilities Arrange and coordinate recruitment, selection and engagement of local project team members Liaise with external recruitment agencies Undertake related administrative tasks including advising unsuccessful applicants, establishing and maintain recruitment records and statistics Coordinate job offers to successful applicants and arrange induction and onboarding Assist with International Assignments (e. g. Visa requirements and applications) for overseas employees About you This will be a high volume and varied role with heavy administration and coordination tasks, so we’re looking for someone with a can-do attitude that’s happy to take on anything. Experience in project recruitment preferably in construction/mining/oil industry Ability to negotiate and communicate well to all levels of employees and management Maintain sound working relationships with Employees, Management, Agencies and Suppliers Salary expectations: $90,000-$100,000 Super Able to commute to Smithfield 3 out of 5 days a week and every second week travel to Cooma Monday to Thursday About the Project Snowy 2.0 is the next generation of the iconic Snowy Mountains Hydroelectric Scheme, and construction of this major pumped hydro project is well underway. Once complete, the Scheme will provide 2000 megawatts of dispatchable, on-demand renewable power and approximately 350,000 megawatt hours of large-scale energy storage to the Australian National Electricity Market.
