Your new role: The Orthopaedic Oncology Fellow will deliver supervised specialist clinical care while developing advanced skills required for independent specialist practice. The role provides comprehensive exposure to high-volume adult orthopaedic oncology within Queensland's state-wide sarcoma service. Provide supervised clinical care and procedural experience across adult bone and soft tissue sarcoma and metastatic disease. Develop advanced orthopaedic oncology competencies in line with specialist college and medical board training requirements. Participate in high-volume outpatient and operative services within a tertiary Level 3 Trauma Centre environment. Work closely with senior consultants and multidisciplinary teams, with opportunities to gain experience in private surgical settings. About you: The ideal candidate will be a highly motivated trainee with strong clinical capability, a commitment to multidisciplinary practice, and a demonstrated interest in academic and research excellence within orthopaedic oncology. Actively participate in high-volume operative, outpatient and ward-based clinical services, working effectively under consultant supervision. Demonstrate strong engagement in multidisciplinary team meetings and collaborative clinical decision-making. Show a clear commitment to research and academic activity, including completion of a publishable research project and national conference presentation.
