Your new role: This role provides peer-led support within Addiction Services, drawing on lived experience to promote recovery-oriented practice and meaningful client engagement across clinical and community settings. Deliver formalised peer support, psychoeducation, and practical assistance to clients accessing alcohol and other drug (AOD) services, supporting recovery, resilience, and community connection Use lived experience to inspire hope, model recovery, and support clients to identify and work towards achievable and meaningful recovery goals Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team and with non-government organisations to enhance recovery-focused care and service delivery About you: You are a recovery-focused peer professional who brings lived experience, strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset to support individuals, teams and services. You are skilled at engaging with people from diverse backgrounds, building respectful relationships and promoting hope, inclusion and recovery-oriented practice You work effectively within multidisciplinary teams, contributing the peer perspective while collaborating with clinical staff and external partners You demonstrate well-developed communication skills and an interest in peer-led education, group facilitation and continuous service improvement Check out our quick tips and application essentials!
