A well-established Perth-based residential builder is seeking an experienced Scheduler / Estimator to take ownership of construction programming while supporting estimating and pre-construction functions across multiple custom home builds. This is a key role within the business, working closely with management, construction, and administration to ensure projects are accurately priced, realistically programmed, and delivered smoothly from pre-start through to completion. About the Role You will be responsible for driving end-to-end construction scheduling while supporting estimating and pre-construction processes. This role suits someone who thinks ahead, understands the commercial realities of building, and takes pride in accuracy, accountability, and strong systems. Key Responsibilities End-to-end construction scheduling across multiple custom residential builds Programming trades, lead times, and delivery sequencing Supporting estimating with take-offs, trade pricing, and pre-costs Reviewing quotes and identifying gaps, risks, and inconsistencies Liaising with suppliers, trades, and internal stakeholders Assisting with pre-start preparation and contract readiness Continuously improving systems, workflows, and efficiencies About You We’re looking for someone who: Has proven experience in residential construction scheduling Has hands-on estimating experience (essential) Understands trades, construction methodology, and build sequencing Is organised, commercially minded, and confident in decision-making Can work independently and take ownership of outcomes Remains calm under pressure and solutions-focused Communicates clearly and professionally Experience with custom or high-end residential projects will be highly regarded.
