Elite Staffing is currently seeking experienced High Reach and Counterbalance Forklift Operators to join a busy, well-established operation within a temperature-controlled chiller environment. This role is primarily focused on forklift operation, with some additional duties such as pallet wrapping, stock movement, and general warehouse tasks as required. You will be working with raw materials and will be responsible for loading and unloading trucks, stacking pallets, and completing accurate stock put-away within racking systems. What’s on offer: Day shift, Monday to Friday Two start times available – 6:00am or 7:00am 8-hour shifts with consistent hours Weekend work may be available during peak periods Pay rate based on experience All cold-weather PPE provided Stable, ongoing work in a supportive team environment Opportunity to transition into a brand-new, state-of-the-art facility scheduled to be operational by the end of 2026 Key responsibilities: Safe and efficient operation of High Reach and Counterbalance forklifts Loading and unloading of inbound and outbound freight Accurate stock put-away and replenishment Pallet wrapping and preparation of goods for dispatch Adherence to food safety, hygiene, and workplace safety requirements Maintaining a clean and organised work area About you: Current LF licence with proven forklift operating experience; High Reach experience is highly regarded Comfortable working in a chiller environment Physically capable of working at a steady pace Confident with truck loading, unloading, and racking Strong focus on safety and attention to detail Reliable, punctual, and a positive team contributor Previous experience handling food products is an advantage About Elite Staffing: Elite Staffing is a specialist labour hire and recruitment provider partnering with reputable businesses across warehousing, logistics, and manufacturing.
