Inventory Co Ordinator About QVS: Queensland Veterinary Specialist (QVS) is Australia’s longest established, privately owned 24/7 specialist group. We have three Specialist and Emergency hospitals at Stafford, North Lakes and our newest hospital on the Sunshine Coast. The Role You will help ensure stock accuracy, support purchasing processes, and maintain compliance with strict regulatory requirements, including pharmacy and S8 medications. This is a hands‑on role ideal for someone who enjoys improving processes, maintaining order, and supporting busy clinical teams. This is a full time role, with the opportunity to design and develop the role for future growth. You will have experience in creating and managing purchasing orders and the entire stock process from start to finish however a key component of the role is to implement and design site dependent strategies for managing inventory across all sites on a daily basis. Key Responsibilities Inventory Coordination & Control Maintain accuracy of stock levels across multiple hospitals. Support system data integrity including product set‑up, pricing and stock locations. Assist with regular stocktakes, receiving procedures and stock rotation (including expiry management). Coordinate stock transfers between sites. Purchasing Support Create and manage purchase orders. Liaise with suppliers regarding pricing, delivery, and product availability. Support invoice matching and basic reconciliation. Identify simple cost‑saving or efficiency opportunities. Multi‑Site Support and reporting Provide day‑to‑day inventory assistance to clinical and operations teams. Support consistent stock handling practices across sites. Assist with onboarding and training staff on inventory procedures. Prepare basic inventory reports, including usage, stock levels, and turnover. Skills & Experience 2–3 years experience in inventory, stock control or purchasing. Experience working across multiple locations is highly regarded. Familiarity with Inventory Management or ERP systems. Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy. Good communication skills and the ability to work well with clinical teams.
