This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in precise, high-quality work and enjoys helping customers feel confident in their clothes. Role overview The successful candidate will be responsible for a variety of garment alterations, including: Hemming pants, skirts and dresses Taking in and letting out garments Shortening sleeves and straps Zip replacements and minor repairs Adjustments to school uniforms and everyday wear Occasional formal and special-occasion alterations Candidate profile To be successful in this role, you will have: Proven experience in clothing alterations or tailoring Confidence using industrial and domestic sewing machines Strong attention to detail and high-finish standards Reliability and the ability to work independently A friendly, professional approach with customers What is on offer Supportive small-business environment Consistent, varied alterations work Flexible hours to be discussed with the successful candidate
