About the Role: Based in Mackay, QLD , you will be responsible for servicing portable fire equipment at customer premises and recommending compliant portable fire protection and safety systems in line with relevant Australian Standards. This role is available on multiple roster options: 5/2 roster - candidates must be able to drive to and from Mackay (no FIFO available for these rosters) Relocation Allowance Available for anyone within QLD Salary is on an EBA: $32 - $ 42 per hour 12% Super Sales Incentives Mine Site allowance, Accommodation Allowances etc depending on experience and roster. Key Responsibilities: Service, inspect, test, repair, and install portable fire protection and safety equipment in accordance with Australian Standards Audit client sites and provide quotes for the full range of portable fire protection systems, equipment, and services Identify sales opportunities while carrying out service work Complete electronic maintenance records and required industry documentation Ensure all work meets quality, safety, and compliance requirements Consistently achieve financial targets, KPIs, and service tolerances Represent the company professionally and uphold brand standards at all times About the Business: This organisation is a leading provider of fire safety and security solutions, operating nationally and supporting a diverse range of clients across commercial, industrial, and regional sectors. About you: Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident Previous experience as a qualified Portable Service Technician Demonstrated experience servicing, maintaining, and selling: Fire extinguishers Fire hose reels Related portable fire protection equipment Sound knowledge of applicable Australian Standards for portable fire protection equipment Current QLD QBCC Licence - Fire (Portables Class/Stream) for installation and maintenance (mandatory) Ability to work autonomously and manage customer relationships effectively Benefits: Salary is on an EBA: $32 - $ 42 per hour 12% Super Sales Incentives Mine Site allowance, Accommodation Allowances etc. depending on experience.
