We are seeking experienced Reliability Engineer / Specialist to join our team supporting multiple clients in the Bowen Basin. This role is critical in driving asset performance, improving maintenance strategies, and embedding reliability best practice across the site. You will lead reliability improvement initiatives across all operating assets, working closely with engineering, maintenance, and OEM stakeholders to deliver sustainable, long-term asset performance improvements. Key Responsibilities: Lead reliability improvement activities within the engineering and maintenance team Analyse asset performance and implement long-term asset improvement strategies Review maintenance strategies, recommend improvements, and support maintenance execution Coach and support maintenance personnel to improve practices and eliminate inefficiencies Improve asset availability through condition monitoring, defect elimination, RCA, and machine health programs Lead and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives Prepare and maintain asset performance and health dashboards and reporting Support and implement defect elimination and reliability engineering programs Liaise with Engineering teams and OEMs to address defects, failures, and service strategies Support and implement life cycle strategy reviews for critical assets Requirements: Qualified (Mechanical or Electrical) and/or holding a tertiary qualification in a relevant engineering discipline Proven experience in a similar reliability-focused role within an open-cut mining environment, with coal mining experience highly regarded Exposure to SAP or comparable ERP systems will be advantageous Strong analytical and problem-solving capability with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving asset and maintenance challenges Standard 11 and Coal Board Medical (or be willing to obtain) Why Wisely?
