This role offers the opportunity to influence Lendlease’s strategic direction and play a key part in corporate development activities, including global acquisitions, divestments, capital partnerships, and portfolio initiatives. We are seeking an experienced M&A professional with a strong track record in transaction execution, commercial analysis and stakeholder management. This is a high‑visibility role with significant exposure to senior leadership, the Board, and external advisers, offering outstanding opportunities for career development within a high‑performing team. Key Responsibilities Support the development, refinement and execution of Lendlease’s corporate strategy. Monitor global real estate and capital markets to identify strategic and investment opportunities. Lead the analysis, structuring, negotiation and execution of transactions and strategic initiatives, including financial modelling, due diligence and review of legal documentation. Prepare and deliver high‑quality presentations and transaction materials for senior stakeholders including the Executive Leadership Team, the Board, investment partners and potential investors Drive business development activities, including sourcing, evaluating and recommending new investment opportunities and divestments. Build and maintain strong relationships with investment partners, advisors, service providers and broader market participants. Conduct ongoing performance analysis of Lendlease’s existing businesses and benchmark asset performance against market comparables. Collaborate with specialist groups across the Lendlease Group to support enterprise-wide initiatives. Mentor and support the development of junior team members. About you The ideal candidate will have 8 years’ experience in a transaction‑focused role such as M&A Advisory, Chartered Accounting/Deal Advisory, Corporate Development, Private Equity, Real Estate Investment Management, or Real Estate Development. You will have relevant tertiary qualifications in Finance, Accounting, Law, Engineering or another related technical discipline. Post‑graduate qualifications such as CFA, CA, or similar will be viewed favorably. You will also demonstrate: Strong interpersonal, communication and stakeholder‑management skills. Exceptional analytical ability and financial modelling expertise. Demonstrated experience in Finance, Real Estate, Investment Banking, Corporate Advisory or a related discipline. Solid understanding of Australian and global real estate markets and key value drivers. Strong commercial judgment with the ability to make effective investment and asset‑management decisions. High level of initiative with the ability to execute independently and manage multiple priorities. A collaborative, team‑oriented approach with a willingness to support broader team objectives. Ability and willingness to travel internationally as required.
