The Central Highlands Allied Health team consists of seven on site Health Practitioner professions: Occupational Therapy, Speech Pathology, Physiotherapy, Nutrition and Dietetics, Podiatry, Pharmacy and Social Work. About the role: The Physiotherapist works as a rural generalist member of the Allied Health team, delivering high-quality, efficient services to stakeholders and consumers of Central Queensland Health. Clinical care is provided across diverse settings, including Acute, Sub-Acute, Ambulatory, Paediatric, Inpatient, Outpatient, and community environments, ensuring continuity across the full spectrum of care. This role offers the opportunity to manage a varied caseload and contribute within an interdisciplinary team model where appropriate. Physiotherapists apply specialised skills in assessment and treatment to support health, functional ability, and quality of life, while contributing to safe, sustainable, and patient-focused service delivery. Clinical practice will remain flexible to ensure that the focus of the service delivery remains on delivering patient centred and time appropriate care. About you: Appointment to this position requires mandatory possession of Bachelor's degree in Physiotherapy from a recognised tertiary institution and registration as a Physiotherapist with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
