Role details The Speech Pathology Department at the Mackay Base Hospital is seeking applications for a Clinical Lead Speech Pathologist (ENT) to join their team on a temporary basis. Your opportunity Provide advanced-level speech pathology clinical services and leadership across the Mackay Hospital and Health Service (MHHS) relevant to Ear Nose and Throat related speech pathology services. Support the development and progression of clinical services to support Ear Nose Throat services; lead the skill development of MHHS speech pathologists working within both routine and specialty areas of speech pathology practice including Flexible Endoscopic Evaluation of Swallowing (FEES), and provide high quality clinical care. About the Team Our Speech Pathology Service delivers care to patients, both children and adults, throughout our hospital departments as well as in outpatient, community and rural settings. Our Speech Pathologists provide assessment, diagnosis, treatment and management to children and adults needing help with communication and/or swallowing.
