Description What We Offer FIFO Shutdown from Perth to Port Hedland Scope – 5th March up to 14th March Roster - 12-hour shifts working Days & Nights Nightshift Allowance - 15% uplift Variety of future works as part of our shutdown circuit team The Opportunity Downer’s Energy & Utilities business has opportunities for Painter Blaster’s to join us for a shutdown in Port Hedland, WA . This role will see you responsible for preparing and protecting steel structures, piping, and fixed plant equipment through abrasive blasting and the application of protective coatings. This includes tasks such as grit or sandblasting to remove rust, scale, or old coatings, followed by applying primers and industrial-grade paint systems to meet corrosion protection standards. To be successful in this role you will need to available from 25th February for inductions, picking up PPE and onboarding. Successful candidates will also join our talent pools to be used in future works across remote and regional WA.
